The FAMILY CENTRE MIZORAM (Centre for Family Research, Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Enrichment) is established officially on the 19th of July of 2019. (Though the family counseling and services for the needy had been done a decade under the name of Ebenezer Society for Social Transformation (EBESSOT) prior to establishing Family
The FAMILY CENTRE MIZORAM (Centre for Family Research, Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Enrichment) is established officially on the 19th of July of 2019. (Though the family counseling and services for the needy had been done a decade under the name of Ebenezer Society for Social Transformation (EBESSOT) prior to establishing Family Centre Mizoram). We are a registered Society under Mizoram Societies Registration Act 2005 (Act of 13 of 2005) bearing Registration No. MSR 1190 of 09.10.2020.
The aims and objectives of our Centre are holistic as follows:
1) To promote family-centric mindset among the Mizos
2) To provide guidance and counseling among the Mizos
3) To conduct research and education of the family life among the Mizos
4) To initiate reconciliation of substance abusers with their families and the society
5) To organize Seminar/Workshop to promote mental health
6) To alleviate the poor and feed the hunger
7) To give care to the people who are in crisis due to various reasons.

Counseling/Therapy has been given to individuals and families. Our services include mental health counseling, pastoral counseling, crisis counseling, premarital counseling, marriage and family counseling, divorce counseling, addiction counseling, career counseling, life skill development counseling.

Knowing in mind that there are millions of people who are in critical condition due to the economic breakdown which was caused by pandemic 2019, which also obviously affected the Mizoram, northeastern State of India. The name of our Project is called HMING THUP RELIEF FUND which means Anonymous Relief Fund knowing that many people who are
Knowing in mind that there are millions of people who are in critical condition due to the economic breakdown which was caused by pandemic 2019, which also obviously affected the Mizoram, northeastern State of India. The name of our Project is called HMING THUP RELIEF FUND which means Anonymous Relief Fund knowing that many people who are in need of help are the same people like us, who can be hurt, shame on themselves, inferior for their condition, we've never done taking pictures with them or introducing our name except HMING THUP RELIEF FUND (Anonymous Relief Fund). This is based on Jesus' teaching we found in Matthew 6:3, "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."
We have covered hundreds of families by providing small amounts of money for their food, shelter (house rent), etc. The relief fund had been done at the first phase through social media (Facebook and Whatsapp). As there are so many applicants for the fund, it was selected according to their condition, and the staff reached out to their doorsteps and provided what they need. The first phase has lasted a couple of months which was followed by the second phase around a month. The third phase is an ongoing project based on their needs. We are grateful for the support we have received from friends and those who have philanthropic minds around us.

An international Workshop on Crisis and Trauma Counseling on Community Disaster with Special Reference to Earthquake in Mizoram was organized on July 11, 2020, at 8:00 PM IST. It was a virtual workshop. Our Director, VLC Vanlalhriatrenga participated as a Resource Person in this Workshop.
