The FAMILY CENTRE MIZORAM (Centre for Family Research, Education, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Enrichment) is established officially on the 19th of July of 2019. (Though the family counseling and services for the needy had been done a decade under the name of Ebenezer Society for Social Transformation (EBESSOT) prior to establishing Family Centre Mizoram). We are a registered non-profit Organization/Society under Mizoram (State) Societies Registration Act 2005 (Act of 13 of 2005) bearing Registration No. MSR 1190 of 09.10.2020. Our service focuses on the Mizos who are living in Mizoram, the remote corner of northeast India.
The aims and objectives of our Centre are holistic as follows:
1) To promote family-centric mindset among the Mizos
2) To provide guidance and counseling among the Mizos
3) To conduct research and education of the family life among the Mizos
4) To initiate reconciliation of substance abusers with their families and the society
5) To organize Seminar/Workshop to promote mental health
6) To alleviate the poor and feed the hunger
7) To give care to the people who are in crisis due to various reasons.
8) To empower men to be biblically mature fathers who lead their family to God.
9) To prevent and reduce domestic violence
